To Follow Jesus is to be on Mission:

Luke 10:1 - After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go.

Sent - apostello - Apostle, Ambassador, "Sent" in latin is missio, where we get our word, mission.

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Mission to do what?

The Message of Jesus - The Gospel.

The Gospel is the Good News of the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ by which we become the Righteousness of God.

The Right Motivation - Rejoice that our names are written in heaven.

Luke 10:17, 20 - 17 The seventy-two returned with joy. saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!"

…20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

Where do we get our joy? What do we rejoice in?
