Our Church was established by Colonial Assembly as a Chapel of Ease on Edisto Island, in the Parish of St. John, Colleton County in 1770 (The Statutes At Large of South Carolina, Volume Fourth, p. 318, Reference Library of SC Dept of Archives and History).   The original chapel was built in 1774.   Soon we became known as Trinity Church and this is evidenced by our two silver chalices inscribed, “For the altar of Trinity Church  Presented by Edward Bailey, Esq 1818”   We are honored to use these chalices every Sunday.   Trinity Church is a member of the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina (www.adosc.org) and the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) (www.anglicanchurch.net).

Trinity Church is a warm and friendly Family of God where the Gospel is Good News and the Bible is God-Breathed and trustworthy.    You are invited to join us for Worship, Fellowship Breakfast, Sunday school, Bible Study, Prayer Group and our Adult Choir.

The Vision of Trinity is to the Love the Lord, Know one another and Serve others so that we may grow as Children of God.
