Intro - Sent, Sending
The Sending of Jesus
John 17:18 - As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
John 20:21-22 - 21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

Sent Where? John 17:18 into the world
World - kosmos - the universe as an ordered structure, all that exists, including humans and human society.

John 17:14 - 14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
I John 5:19 - 19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
So the Biblical revelation is that Human Beings are born sinners into a cursed World ruled by Satan.
But Jesus,
The Gospel is the Good News of the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ by which we become the Righteousness of God.
