Welcome to Trinity Episcopal Church!!

Our summer weekly activity schedule is on the left of this page. Also, beginning Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, Trinity provides a worship service on the beach every Sunday beginning at 8:00 AM next to the Pavilion Restaurant. All of our Sunday School classes and most of our Small Groups are now on Summer Break. They will resume on Rally Sunday after Labor Day. Our complete calendar can be found here. You may read a letter from our Rector expressing his support of Bishop Mark Lawrence regarding the disaffiliation of the Diocese of South Carolina.

We welcome Rev. Mark Cooke who will be our visiting priest celebrating the 8:00 am Holy Eucharist Rite I in the historic sanctuary this weekend. We are blessed that he is available to help us as we continue our beach service outreach. Thank you, Punchy!

The No Homework Bible Study will continue to meet every Monday throughout Summer in the Parish Library from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Everyone is invited! We are currently studying the letter to the Hebrews. God's Word is a treasure to be searched and revealed. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to do this together. Each week stands on its own, so come as you are able. We take up a weekly offering for Life Outreach International/Water for Life.

A group of women from Trinity are going down to a Women's Conference at Grace Church in Jacksonville, Florida, September 19th - 21st.(Thursday evening - Saturday, 2:00 p.m.) Judith MacNutt is one of the Keynote speakers! The cost is $50 plus hotel and meals. Registration deadline is Sunday, July 28th. Please call Sallie Currin if you are interested in attending.

Vacation Bible School at Trinity Tuesday, June 25th through Friday, June 28th is in need of eight adult leaders. Kristy Young has offered to be our new Coordinator. Thank you Kristy! However, we need an adult leader for each section: Science, Arts & Crafts and the Movie Theater. We also need other adults to make a one to four day commitment as assistants. We also hope our young people will again step up and give group leadership as well. Finally we need snack providers, those who bring and organize the snacks for each day. Please contact Kristy by Sunday, June 9th if you are led to help out. All help, big and small, will be so appreciated!!

The Daughters of the King day group are meeting once a month for the summer starting in May. During these months they will be meeting on the second Wednesday each month. Our June meeting will be at Betty Killen's house on the 12th. Our July meeting will be at Bo Lachicotte's house on the 10th. Our August meeting will be at Joan Bumgarner's house on the 14th. I hope to see you there! Joan Bumgarner, President

All teenagers (ages 13-19) are invited to come and join the Edisto Youth Group Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Lion's Club on Myrtle Street. Dinner is included. This is a joint effort of the Edisto Beach Baptist Church, Trinity Episcopal Church and the Presbyterian Church on Edisto Island.
