Worship Schedule Continues at Trinity

Our Beach Service has come to an end for this season but our Vestry has authorized three options for corporate worship:

Pre-recorded Internet Services - We will continue to record our Sanctuary Service on Wednesday afternoons. Join us safely from anywhere!

The 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Meech Room Service - Trinity will offer the Anglican Standard and Renewed Ancient Holy Eucharist service at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Meech Room.  Everyone must accommodate appropriate social distancing of 6 feet and Face Masks are required. Margie Moody will provide instrumental music on our concert grand piano.  Please follow the Vestry Approved Protocols.

Gathering of Small Groups and Ministries

Our Vestry, under the direction of the Diocesan Office and the permission of the bishop, is Allowing Small Groups, Bible Studies, Ministries and outside organizations to gather in the Meech Room of Temple Hall only.
Appropriate Safety and Security protocols must be utilized including required face-masks, 6 feet physical distancing and sanitizing of the facility. For more information and to make a reservation, please contact Tonya Perryman, our Parish Secretary, at office@trinityedisto.com.

Safety and Security Protocols for Trinity’s Services

Safety and Security Protocols for
Trinity's Meech Room Service:

~     The Meech Room and Restrooms will be sanitized before worship.
~     Members, Friends and Guests who are sick, or more susceptible to becoming sick, are urged to stay home.  If you are over 65 you should recognize that you are in a high risk category.
~     Our pre-recorded Online Services will continue. Go to www.trinityedisto.com or our FaceBook Page.
~     Face Masks are required to enter the building.  Please bring your own. However, we will have extras available for use and return for re-santizing and re-use. Hand Sanitizer will also be available, but we encourage everyone to bring their own.
~     There will be a minimum 6 foot distance between families and individuals for seating and receiving communion.  Communion will be bread only received while standing in line.
~     The entire service will be in the bulletin.  There will be congregational singing and instrumental music will also be provided.
~     There will be no physical contact (handshakes, hugs, etc.) but waves and winks are encouraged!
~     Restrooms are available but only if absolutely necessary. Hand sanitizer is available.
~     We will maintain our 6 foot distance until we exit the building.  Take your bulletin with you as you exit.  Social Distancing will also be required in the parking lot.

“No Homework” Bible Study

YES!!!  God is a God of new beginnings ... and we will begin anew the “No Homework Bible Study” on Monday, November 2nd, at 9:45 a.m.  Men and women are invited!  One major change is that we will not meet in the library. We will gather in the large Meech Room where seating will be social distanced and masks required. Our class is led by the Holy Spirit. God’s Word is a treasure to be searched and revealed. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to do this together. Each week stands on its own, so come as you are able. Remember, we meet EVERY MONDAY throughout the ENTIRE YEAR!
In recognition of the water of life received from the Word each week, the Monday No Homework Bible Study’s outreach ministry is the digging of wells through Life Outreach International/ Water for Life which provides life, bringing clean water to areas in third world countries where there is none. Our Bible Study has decided to make weekly offerings that will be added to an end-of-the-year gift. This is a tangible way we acknowledge the nourishment of the water of the Word in our lives.
Also, please continue to save the pop tops off beverage cans and soup/vegetable cans. We give them to the Ronald McDonald House who use the proceeds for various projects. There is a jar in the office where they can be deposited.
We hope you will join us each Monday as we discover the treasures God has to meet all of life's challenges!

AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) meets  at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Call 843-909-1122 for more information.

    The Daughters of the King

The Daughters of the King meet at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday mornings in the Meech Room of Temple Hall for worship and prayer.  There will be no meeting November 25th  due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.  The night time meeting will be Monday, November 23rd,  at 6:00 p.m. in the Meech Room.  There will be Compline and prayer.
The Daughters of the King are a group of women who love the Lord and are dedicated to prayer. Visitors are always welcome to our meetings. If you have any questions, please contact our Chapter President, Linda Sanders, at 843-889-8997 or lbs1119@hotmail.com.

OPPORTUNITIES . . .

The Daughters of the King
and the
Operation Christmas Child: Shoebox Ministry

(The deadline is on Sunday, November 8th)

Have you filled a shoebox? Boxes are available outside the Church office. Remember NO toothpaste, candy, chocolate, toy military items, aerosol cans, liquids, medicines, vitamins, or fruit snacks. Also, remember to include $9 in each box for shipping. You may write one check for several boxes and can track your box.
We have been very successful in the previous years. This year has certainly been a challenge to us in many ways. With the COVID-19 pandemic many do not feel safe going away from their homes to get items to pack a shoebox.  If you would like to provide a monetary donation, please mark your check in the memo section Samaritan Shoebox. We will pack a box for you.
This is a very worthwhile ministry and such a blessing to you and the child that gets that special box. Any questions? Contact the church office at 843-869-3568.

   The Men’s Bible Study

We continue to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest The Acts of the Apostles on Thursday mornings at 8:00 a.m.  Our commentary is The Message of Acts in the Bible Speaks Today series.  This bible study includes faithful men from other churches on Edisto Island.  Come try it out!

The Good Samaritan Clinic

The Good Samaritan Clinic is open on Fridays from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Plans are to move forward with the dental clinic as the final stages of construction are completed and providers are confident that a safe working environment can be achieved.
Uncertain times require the Clinic to access its path in the future based on the needs of our underserved Island population, as well as the safety of our most special medical and dental providers.
Your continued  prayers and support are most critical at this stage of the Clinic’s future development. Questions? Please call the Clinic at (843) 217-7153.

 * These events meet off Trinity campus.
