Renew, Revive, Revitalize

"Faith Alive is a gentle program that provides a special time for each of us to re-examine the promises that we made, or were made for us, at our Baptism, and again when we were confirmed." (www.faithalive.org)

This upcoming weekend is an exciting opportunity for us to share our faith, renew our commitment and grow together spiritually as children of God.  It is not a teaching seminar, nor a lecture series.  A visiting team of volunteers who have devoted their lives to the Lord will share their stories of faith and help facilitate the spiritual experience in small groups and corporate worship.  With your participation, all our lives will be touched by the Holy Spirit and we can walk away from this weekend with a deeper faith and greater understanding of the love our God has for us.

You can begin the experience right now by praying every day, with all of us, our parish's Faith Alive Prayer:

Lord Jesus, you came that we might have life and have it more abundantly than we can ask or imagine.  Pour out Your life and love on Trinity Edisto.  Draw us all together as your children for our Faith Alive weekend, that we might be touched by your love, renewed by your Spirit and made vessels to carry these priceless gifts to others.

We pray for our weekend together...

That the witness speakers would be led to share their encounters with Jesus in ways that would encourage God's people and attract them to Him.

That, Lord Jesus, You would lift up Wey, our priest and shepherd and anoint him with wisdom, discernment, strength and love.

That Trinity's Committees would be given servant's hearts to execute their ministries with joy and compassion, seeking in all things to labor as unto the Lord.

That the members of Trinity Edisto would receive the witnesses shared as Christ speaking to us and so touch our hearts that we respond in greater faith and service.

That Trinity as a congregation might be more fully transformed into the Body of Christ in the place and increasingly live for Your glory, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Amen and Amen
